Services
Aivy Consult and Therapy provides a diversity of related and independent services in support of holistic well-being. The need to engage with a therapist may arise from a variety of contexts and circumstances in life. We tailor our services to your unique circumstances and best interests. Our intake process helps to identify how Aivy can support you, even if you are not certain how to ask for help.
Mental Health Services
Taking care of our mental health is vital to our overall well-being. Looking after our mental health involves ensuring that we are attentive to our cognitive, emotional, and behavioural well-being. When neglected, mental health issues can have negative ramifications for other aspects of life including physical health, work, relationships, and family.
At Aivy Consult and Therapy, we provide a welcoming environment where you can feel free to talk about your mental health needs. There are many reasons why people may not seek help when needed, but taking one step at a time and reaching out for support may be a less intimidating way to start.
Our mental health service begins with a biopsychosocial assessment where we gather relevant history about your experience. This helps our therapists to understand your situation better. Our therapists support individuals dealing with life’s challenges or stressors, and those who require counseling to move to a state of overall mental well-being. We also provide trauma counselling including intergenerational trauma counselling and counseling relating to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
We also provide counseling/psychotherapy to individuals who have been diagnosed with the following:
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Legal and Medical Assessments
If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident or have sustained injuries that have resulted in a claim, our social workers provide biopsychosocial assessments or evaluations to review how you have been affected post-injury. This assessment includes obtaining information about the psychological, physical, social, and financial impact of this event. We also review documentation relating to your incident. Our therapists will formulate treatment plans or make recommendations based on the findings during assessments that will address your psychosocial requirements. This may include referrals to other services.
